Moving your mouse around all day can actually have a pretty rad outcome. A co-worker of mine found a pretty sweet program that tracks the movements of your mouse for a period of time. The above image is what 1 hour and 40 minutes looks like.
May 2010 Archives
Last Friday I spent all afternoon and night working on the final piece for my show at Curbside Gallery that was the next day. I just got a new program that will allow me to do way better time-lapse, so just consider this one a tease.
More images of the show coming soon.
Its about that time again. I will be back at one of my favorite galleries for another solo show this month. Curbside Gallery (the place where it all began) is the place to be this Saturday night May 15th. I have been trying new things this past couple months and am proud to show them at Curbside. Hope everyone can make it out. I have decided to give a little treat to everyone that shows up... so you better make sure I see you there.
Here is a little something sweet Curbside said about me :
It's that time of the month again, no not that time, time for another great art show at Curbside. I'm super happy to have Ryan back after the success of his first solo show last year. His new show "ART AND NONSENSE" finds Ryan really coming into his own as an Artist with work that I dare say is more mature, since he's been going more with what comes naturally instead of trying to come up with a theme or use a color palette. In talking to Ryan it reminds me of what one of the great sculptor's said and I think it was Rodin, who said "I just chip away at the pieces that don't need". This is a show not to be missed.
If you have been out for the art walk in awhile well the weather's warming up, Curbside's been expanded, and Ryan's super talented so now would be a good time. Hope to see you here.

sips and snacks are always ready for you.

The great thing about working for a surf company is that when you go out of town for jobs it's usually to a pretty sunny place... Well at least this time the weather was on our side. Lunch break on the pier in Santa Barbara, not too bad.
Update:
After writing this post, a bird decide to crap on my head, lucky I had my hat on. Then... I put my hat to the side, and it crapped on it again. Needless to say, I threw the hat away.

Jumped in the car today and now on the way to Santa Barbara, for the millionth time it feels like. Been working on a store design for normal job. Since I'm not behind the wheel I thought I would try out the blogpress app on the phone. Little hard to type in a rough riding work van, but I am down for the challenge (thank you iPhone for auto correction). Goal for this trip is to really get some good shots for the photo blog, which I will be updating often.

(sorry for the FULL link, blogpress hasn't figured that part out yet. )
The buttons are in! Just got them in the mail and they are ready to go back in it. For this first run, anyone who sends me an email with their shipping address will get a little something in the mail.
