So I have been wanting to try the wood block printing process for some time now. Well I got a couple gift cards to my favorite place on earth, Art Supply Warehouse. I decided to spend some of that and pick up the supplies I needed to take on this new medium of art making. I got all the stuff I needed, or what I thought I needed, got it home and started at it. I started out with just a basic image that I love to use, The shopping cart. If you have seen some of my work before I like to use the cart a lot. Reasoning for this is the basic simple image of a shopping cart can mean so many different things, it all really depends on how you look at it. You can see it as a thing that helps you when you are shopping for items to help you cook for the night, or on the other side of the spectrum it could be a way to move around all your only belongs through the streets that you live on.
